Gurung Fuel

Our Technology

Developed by UNSW world-leading researchers, Gurung Fuel technology features a unique and high-performance CO2 electrolyser cell designed and engineered for maximum efficiency, durability and stability for renewable fuel production.

SAF Synthetic Aviation Fuel
Production pathway
The Power-to-Liquid (PtL) process uses captured waste COâ‚‚ and green hydrogen as key raw materials. In this pathway, COâ‚‚ is first converted into carbon monoxide (CO) using a COâ‚‚ electrolyser. The resulting CO is then combined with green hydrogen in a Fischer-Tropsch (FT) synthesis process to produce synthetic crude oil. This synthetic crude can be further refined into eSAF.

E-Methanol
Maritime fuel
Production pathway
e-Methanol is a clean fuel produced by combining captured carbon dioxide (COâ‚‚) with green hydrogen—hydrogen extracted from water using electrolysis powered by renewable or low-emissions electricity
Renewable Fuel by Gurung Fuel
Carbon Transformation
Embracing and transforming waste CO2 into renewable fuels.
Carbon neutral
The CO2 released during combustion is balanced by the CO2 used in production, making e-fuels a carbon-neutral option.
Drop-In Fuels
E-fuels can be used in existing engines without modifications, providing a seamless transition from fossil fuels.
Decentralised
Our technology operates on a decentralised model, allowing it to integrate seamlessly with renewable energy sources.
Building Futures Together
Join us in the fight against climate change by reducing carbon footprints, promoting sustainable energy, and advancing the circular economy. Together, we provide efficient, sustainable solutions for renewable fuel production, enhancing fuel security and sovereignty, and paving the way for a greener future. Reach out to learn more
